Six Academy players to train with the 1st team
Apparently Oxford and a further 5 Academy players will join up on Monday with the 1st team for the 11 day camp in Switzerland.

Any ideas who?...

There isn’t a complete list but I see Antonio is described as fit again.
No mention of Reece Burke

According to the OS

"Sead Haksabanovic and Martin Samuelsen and Academy of Football graduates including Declan Rice, Reece Oxford, Josh Cullen, Nathan Holland and Marcus Browne."

I’d like to see Haksabanovic given a chance. Good creative midfielder in the Lanzini mound who could play a part next season.

I agree, one last look with a few new sets of eyes is what I was saying. He was supposed to be a flair player, back in the day.

Come to think of though he was released from Man City under Pellegrini so maybe ignore me.

Not sure Samuelson has done enough in any of the loans he has had. Shame as he has a lot going for him but just hasn’t kicked on.

Samuelsen probably deserves a last look before moving him on.

I agree with Terry-h comments below.

Browne and Holland are the only 2 that have a chance of playing themselves into the first team squad. Holland in particular would already have been involved in the second part of last season if it hadn't been for injury.

Quina just doesn't do it for me and if we got a decent offer I would sell. Saw him 3 times for the academy side last season and looks too small & lightweight.

What about Neufville? He's pretty highly rated from the yoof.

I'll say him

Sounds like Pelligrini has done the sensible thing and CONSULTED the people who are already there and said who are the best prospects from the Acadamy Good leadership I say! And great for the players too!

I think Browne and Holland are the u-23 standouts. Excellent footballers ready to make the leap into the first team squad.

I think Oxford is worth hanging on to. The potential is there, just need to get into his head and sort him out a bit.

I reckon Oxford, Burke, Haksabanovic, Holland, Browne, and one other. Possibly Quina but they're apparently looking to sell him so maybe not.

You 'imagine' and 'probably' and 'likely' know what is happening to players but know that Pellegrini has made up his mind and is just going through the motions despite the fact he has stated he wants to see them all in action before agreeing a loan or sale.
God save me from these in-the-know twats.

Re: Six Academy players to train with the 1st team
I imagine Oxford will be sold and probably Burke. Cullen will likely be loaned out or sold
Holland will get a chance and Browne
So that's 4 joining up
Pellegrini already made up his mind anyway but going through the motions
